It mounts as is shown in pic two with the notch at back on right side. It does work on the kt handsaw. It includes two new locking screws for the blocks.

It will not work on the steel framed handsaws. This part fits the cast iron saws only, old gray, blue, and current white machines. This is the guide bracket support for Jet 14 handsaws.
