The brushes and armature still look good. The fitted case is in decent shape. From what I could find out, the saw was introduced in 1962 shortly after rockwell purchased Porter Cable see photo of ad. The handle and latch are still securely attached.

The saw runs, but its been sitting for decades and I would recommend disassembly, cleaning new lube before using the in a work environment. Its an excellent candidate for restoration. It includes everything in the pictures. There are no cracks on the saw.

I picked this saw up many years ago at a yard sale with the intention of restoring it but never found time. There are no big dings or dents. It has an orbital action. Since there are no logos on it, it could easily be sanded and repainted.

It uses bayonet style blades which are readily available.
